I think that's a common fear, Rhenna. I think it means you didn't complete your life's mission in your last life :)

Yeah, the fear of dying doesn't get me too much. I guess my mind things, "Well, at that point, I won't be around to worry about it anymore." What DOES bug me is not getting to the stuff I wanted to do before I kick it. So, dying...not so bad. But not getting to everything BEFORE it happens? Yeah, that's a big fear.

Ah yes Suzanne, fear is real. It's not all in our heads. I feel for you girl. I've suffered from fear. It's hard to say what is going on with our subconscious, isn't it? I was brought up with a mother that was afraid of death and a father that quoted Roosevelt, "There is nothing to fear, but fear itself." My mother would fly with white knuckles while my dad would be fast asleep. lol. I think I fall somewhere in the middle. Although, thankfully, because of my faith and personal study of scripture over the last 40 years, I know that the dead are conscious of nothing at all (Eccl. 9:5). And, I am grateful for the promise of the resurrection (John 5:25,28,29). Yet, we live in a world where scary things happen. What has helped me Suzanne is knowing that God promises to soon do away with death forever (Rev. 21:4). Knowing that, having that assurance, keeps me sane in this crazy world. ((Hugs!)) :)

I'm not afraid of dying, strangely enough. I'm afraid of being poor, of being homeless, of being really ill. I try not to dwell on my fears because I read somewhere that we bring on the things we fear the most. Ugh!
