Push to Add Drama

Welcome to Laughs on Friday. You may have seen today’s video circulating around on social media. I’m always a day late when it comes to being in the know, but the good news is that, even if you have seen it, it’s worth watching again.

May I just say, well done, TNT. Now this is brilliant marketing.

What did you think? A little unsure are first, like me? What’s the best commercial you’ve ever seen?

  1. I’ve seen it before, but enjoyed it just as much this time around! Makes me wonder what it must have felt like to be the one to push the red button. 🙂

  2. I had not seen that video, and now that I’ve watched it, I won’t watch it again.

Personally, I think that was a terrible commercial. It was fine until the guns came out. Seriously, if I witnessed that I wouldn’t be standing there, I’d be running or hiding under something. With all of the school and mall shootings that happen practically every day, that was NOT cool.

Now, I did like the idea of a button and seeing who had the courage to push it. I’d have pushed the button.

    • You’re definitely a button pusher! Me too 🙂 I almost clicked off the video the first time but when the woman in the lingerie rode by on the motorcycle I knew it was a joke. The fact that nobody was running during the gunfire told me everyone knew it was some kind of prank. It’s not for everyone, though.
